Our laboratory boasts a wide range of state-of-the-art machinery, which perform high-precision work on any type of stone and marble. We accomplish each of your projects exactly as you have imagined them by providing you with a virtual simulation of the final product as well as the possibility of making any desired changes.
Our warehouse provides a vast variety of stone and marble that you may view and choose. This includes both innovative and used materials that are useful to the restoration or renovation of old residences.
We collaborate with numerous companies and independents, guaranteeing maximum results in terms of quality and aesthetic taste.

Marmeria Russo is today a reference point in the Salento area for marble and stone craftsmanship, combining traditional know-how with modern technology in every creation. Built on the solid experience of a long-standing family business, the company has stood out for over fifty years for its expertise, passion and attention to detail.

This journey of quality and dedication has been officially recognized by the Apulia Region, which awarded Marmeria Russo the title of “Historic and Traditional Artisan Workshop”, including it in the regional register of businesses that preserve and pass on authentic craftsmanship. This recognition goes beyond a formal title: it represents the cultural and identity value of an ancient craft that continues to evolve over time.

Led by Luca Russo, a skilled master craftsman in stone processing, the company continues to pursue a clear vision: transforming ideas into unique creations where aesthetics, functionality and material come together.

At the workshop in Strudà, just outside Lecce, tradition meets innovation. Advanced machinery allows for high-precision processing of marble, granite, onyx and natural stones, while artisanal expertise remains at the heart of every project.

From custom-made sinks to wall claddings, from fireplaces to design elements, each piece is the result of a direct dialogue with the client. Ideas are first developed through virtual simulations and then brought to life as tangible creations, designed to last and enhance any space.

Seven new master artisans in Apulia: Zippo, Caroppo and Russo among them

Three from Salento received the title from Regional Councillor Delli Noci under the regional law aimed at preserving and promoting traditional crafts

Among the seven new master artisans in Apulia who received the recognition from the Regional Councillor for Economic Development, Alessandro Delli Noci, three are from Salento: Donato Caroppo, a baker from Minervino di Lecce; Luca Russo, a master in stone craftsmanship from Vernole; and Giuseppe Zippo, a pastry chef from Specchia. The others are Ruggero Di Benedetto, artisan photographer from Barletta; Nicola Giotti, pastry chef from Giovinazzo; Giacomo Losavio, dairy producer from Noicattaro; and Valentina Monno, beautician from Bari.

Since the regional law of 2018, “Regulations on Apprenticeships and Provisions for ‘Bottega Scuola’”, came into force, 64 titles have been awarded. The measure aims to preserve and promote artistic, traditional and tailoring crafts, encouraging generational renewal through the transfer of skills, the development of niche productions and the exchange of knowledge.
